The club offers instruction in all three weapons of fencing:  epee, foil, and sabre.

SF Youth Fencing focuses on sabre as the weapon of choice for young children.  The movements are natural since the actions are both thrust and cut.

American sabre women took Gold, Silver, and  Bronze in the  Summer 2008 Olympics!   Members of the women's sabre team started when they were between 7-10 years old.
